Proprietates chemicae:
Liquor incolor vel flavus. Odorem peculiarem habet. Paululum solubilis in aqua, solubilis in solventibus organicis ut ethanolo, aethere, chloroformio et benzeno.

Propositum:
1. Adhibetur in intermediis tincturis, acceleratoribus latex, pharmacis, pesticidis, etc.
2. Diethylanilina imprimis in productione colorum azoicorum et colorum triphenylmethani adhibetur. Adhiberi potest ad viridem basicum splendidum, violaceum basicum, caeruleum acidum lacus V, et cetera praeparanda; etiam est intermedium in industria pharmaceutica et revelator pellicularum coloratarum. Adhibetur ut reagens analyticum et detectio zinci et manganesii.
3. Ut reagens analyticum et etiam in synthesi organica adhibitum.

Modus productionis:

Ex reactione anilini et aethyli chloridi obtinetur. Quota consumptionis materiae rudis: 645kg/t anilini, 1473kg/t aethyli chloridi (95%), 1230kg/t sodae causticae (42%), 29kg/t anhydridi phthalici.
